Carter Morris


Carter Morris was recruited to Kerlin Capital Group in 2006, following his work at Sanford Wittels & Heisler, LLP as a senior legal assistant. While at Sanford, Mr. Morris participated in the development of litigation involving major pharmaceutical companies. His previous work experience includes a position as a financial intern at Smith Barney/Citigroup, where he was primarily responsible for research and due diligence on venture capital investments. During his tenure at Kerlin, Carter has had experience creating financial and acquisition models and has worked on the development of a number of strategic plans. His transaction experience at Kerlin includes the Farmer Bros. acquisitions of Coffee Bean International and Sara Lee DSD Coffee Business, the acquisition of LERETA by former management and the sale of Carlton Forge Works to Precision Castparts.

Mr. Morris graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Sociology, where he was captain of the tennis team.
